Do you code? We need you! Don’t code? We have lots of ways to help. Youth Code Jam is completely fueled by volunteers. You could help us put together an after school club, mentor a student at a big event, help manage our social media, research and write grants, help us find resources, write blog posts, design a flyer or create curriculum. No matter your level of involvement, your time and talents are welcome and appreciated.

Right now, our biggest needs are as follows:

Volunteer Programmers (especially with knowledge of Scratch, Minecraft, Finch robots, arduino, python and C) for our big jam September 24, 2016. Sign up here.

Volunteer Programmers (especially with a knowledge of Scratch and Javascript) to help support after school coding clubs in San Antonio. We have lots of requests from teachers who are looking for technical help in the classroom. Clubs typically occur one day a week, between 3:30 and 4:30 pm. Sign up here.

Volunteer Programmers to help as part of our Street Team, attending events and teaching kids a little about programming at community events. We often run simple stations, like Scratch or Finch robots, and do computer science unplugged activities with the kids. Sign up here.

Not sure exactly what you want to do? We have a form for that, too! Apply here.
