St. Mary’s University has a summer camp for middle school and high school students who are interested in engineering. The Pre-Engineering Robotics and Java Programming Summer Program is a special two-week summer program designed to give middle school and high school students with an interest in science and engineering an opportunity to explore engineering as a career.

Sessions will include hands-on activities on robotics using Lego EV3 kits, programming, and problem solving. During the camp, there will be multiple field trips where participants will observe engineers working on interesting projects, such as robotics and space research. There will be visiting engineers to share their experiences with students. Students will have campus tours and many fun activities on the campus as well.

St. Mary’s University will award accepted students scholarships to cover the expense of the camp, depending on students’ qualification and availability of the funding! Because of the popularity and size limit of the camp, students are encouraged to submit their applications at their earliest convenience. Attached please find the application form and the brochure.
