Lower Elementary

Fun with Code – SOLD OUT – July 16-17, half days, at UTSA – Main Campus. In this two-day camp, second and third graders will have a welcoming and fun experience to computer coding. We’ll have a great time exploring unplugged activities and designing online with blocks of code. Register for the waitlist.

Upper Elementary

Discover micro:bits SOLD OUT – July 9 – July 13, half days, at UTSA – Main Campus. This camp is best for upper elementary to  middle school students. Come learn and have fun getting hands-on with the powerful little micro:bit. We’ll complete several projects, linking physical computing with abstract programming concepts, and you’ll get to take home your very own micro:bit! No previous coding experience required. Middle School

Girls Rock Code! -SOLD OUT – June 25 – June 29 at UTSA – Main Campus. This summer camp is just for middle school girls. We’ll experiment with Scratch, micro:bit, Finch robots and wearables…all while learning about computational thinking and computer science. No previous coding experience required. Register Here.

Game Design SOLD OUTJuly 16 – July 20 at UTSA – Main Campus. Campers will learn programming, data structures, simple physics, and game design through the easy to use Pico-8 “fantasy console” and development environment. Best for high school students. Register Here.

Cybersecurity for Beginners SOLD OUT – July 23-27 at St. Mary’s  University. Students will be introduced to basic computer programming skills that will help them to understand the cybersecurity first principles, develop various programs for: symmetric and asymmetric encryption schemes, checking data integrity, and performing cryptanalysis and code breaking. Moreover, different cybersecurity topics will be presented to students: cybersecurity ethics and cybercrimes, security settings on personal computers, administering operating systems securely, various security threats and attacks, secure internet access, and social engineering.
