Please join us to participate in a fun, energizing dialogue around a critical workforce issue, featuring keynote Frances Coronel, podcaster and Slack software engineer.
What’s the goal? By bringing together industry leaders, educators and girls over a casual breakfast to talk about challenges, strengths and opportunities in recruiting and retaining girls in computer science education, we go beyond building awareness to brainstorming solutions...together.
What distinguishes the breakfast as a gathering? We’ve arranged the schedule so that talented middle school, high school and college women have the opportunity to serve as thought leaders in small group discussions at tables with business men and women and educators.
Industry: Consider supporting this program by purchasing a table at this event. Fill half the table with your staff. We'll give the remaining seats at your table to teachers and students. For sponsorship information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Teachers: Join us and bring some of your students with you. We have generous businesses who are sharing their tables with you. You will also receive 2 CPE. Youth Code Jam is a TEA-approved provider of continuing professional education. Register to attend here.
Students: Students are welcome to attend free of charge. Students under 18 must attend with a teacher or a parent.
